Free Shipping on orders over $100 CAD / $85 USD

Shipping policy

We ship orders from our Toronto office within Canada and to the United States.

We ship orders from Monday to Friday by Canada Post excluding statutory holidays. All orders will be processed and shipped the next business day.

We ship orders based on the shipping service you select from the available options at checkout.

We offer free shipping on orders over $100 CAD / $85 USD (before duties and taxes if applicable). Orders eligible for free shipping are fulfilled by Expedited Parcel in Canada and Tracked Packet-USA in the United States, both of which include a tracking number.

If your order is less than $100 CAD or $85 USD, the shipping fee is automatically calculated by Canada Post at checkout depending on the destination, the dimensions and weight of the package. If you don't select a shipping option that includes a tracking number, we are not able to provide the status of your package and we are not responsible for missing or lost packages.

The estimated time of the arrival of your package depends on your location and the shipping option selected.

Once your order has been fulfilled and shipped out, we rely on our logistics partners such as Canada Post and USPS to take care of the packages. The best course of action is to check the tracking number that is given to you in the shipping confirmation email. We also put our best effort to track the shipments and to resolve any issues related to delivery if tracking numbers are available. If you have any issues with regards to the status of your shipment, please contact us at soo@soochatea.ca as soon as possible so that we can file a claim or open an investigation with the logistics companies.

Customers are responsible for all import duties and taxes levied by US customs. Starting August 29, 2025, shipments entering the United States must have duties prepaid before crossing the border - regardless of their value. The mandatory duty pre-collection is implemented at checkout for our US customers.

Please note that the US tariff exemptions for tea (amended Annex II of Executive Order 14257) do not apply to postal carriers such as Canada Post. All teas will be subject to the new global tariff rate at 10%. We will do our best to keep you updated regarding any changes to the US tariff regulations.
