Burdock root called wooeong (우엉) in Korean is a common food ingredient in South Korea. It is widely used as banchan (side dish), an ingredient in kimbap (or gimbap) as well as tea. Burdock root tea is a popular Korean herbal tea/tisane full of roasted and nutty flavours with natural sweetness.

Tips: When you allow the infusion to cool down a bit after steeping the tea, it tastes more flavourful and sweet.
For the multiple infusions, increase the steeping time by 1 minute for each steeping.
